Explain what your goal of owning the business is Redline Performance
Redline Performance will offer a cornerstone of tuning and modification within the city.
Domestic repairs and servicing will be the foundation of the business like any other garage, however Redline will specialise in performance upgrades and modification for all vehicles with an expertise and focus on anything sports related.
However we plan to take this further than a traditional garage by implementing a tuning consultancy that citizens can use to input concerns they have about their vehicles creating a realistic and enjoyable approach to needing crucial changes made to their pride and joy or daily driver.
Lastly with links to key manufacturers and importers overseas, we aim to provide a dealership on site for rare and desirable tuner and performance vehicles, these cars will be sold in limited numbers by appointment and will feature motorsport collectibles from around the world.
How do you plan to do this? Vehicle Servicing & Upgrades
Day to day servicing, repairs and upgrades to all domestic vehicles will provide the back bone of our business providing a reliable and trusted service to all citizens of San Andreas, with our location in little seoul area of the city we hope to be a friendly and affordable one stop shop for all things automotive.
Vehicle Tuning
With a deep involvement on the backend of vehicle adjustment, we hope to provide a bridge between OOC and IC communication around car handling adjustment.
Customers will be able to contact our garage with a concern about their vehicle if they feel it is underperforming within its vehicle class, we will then invite the customer in for a consultancy and test drive the vehicle alongside them, if we feel the request is warranted we will inform them that the vehicle will be tuned over the coming days and will get in touch when the adjustments have been made.
Vehicle Sales
To further this involvement of tuning and modification, we also aim to be an exclusive importer of rare and desirable tuner vehicles, these will be sold from within a showroom underneath the garage (see MLO below for context).
The sales being operated from the showroom will be appointment based only, creating a tailored experience for buyers of these rare collectible cars. With the showroom having 3 sales plinths available, we'd plan to have cars on sale for a limited time before rotating our stock keeping people engaged and hungry for fresh new imports. When vehicles are added we plan to announce releases in city via social media furthermore aligning with our overall objective of keeping our work and communication in character as much as possible.
This sales offering will not be available until we establish the links with overseas suppliers but will be advertised slowly to further the shop's story arc. (we will be aligning this with our release schedule for vehicles in line with economy growth within the city so most likely won't be any cars for sale for the first month or so)
Staff
Hiring is a key part of our business plan, reliable and passionate staff will create the foundation of our work.
I'd be looking to take on a manager or two across multiple time zones to facilitate around the clock working hours as much as possible, along with 5 or 6 mechanics to run the garage floor.
Staff will be interviewed with a rigorous process to determine whether they hold the traits we require around expertise and passion, applicants will be asked several questions surrounding there interest in performance vehicles and what they hope to bring to the business, I will also ask if staff have a preference of vehicle they wish to work on further expanding our specialist approach to each customers pride and joy.
Do you have a preference over location? The location for Redline Performance is a very key aspect to what we plan to offer and is crucial to providing in depth RP in lots of ways. The business application and plan has been built around the building as we've mapped out the rooms/ways of working with the features it has to offer.
The location features multiple mechanic bays, a spray booth, reception area with small display of cars, an office, changing rooms, a large car park for customers and tow trucks and the underground showroom.
The MLO is 30 euros and if accepted I'd be happy to make the purchase myself.

The MLO we wish to use will replace the Weazel News building, although your first reaction may be to look for alternative garage locations I would love the opportunity to show what I'd be capable of offering from an RP perspective if given the chance.
Its unlikely anyone would want to take on Weazel News in the early days of the server if at all and on launch I see the potential of Redline Performance and its RP offering being very substantial for longevity.
My proposal if Weazel News would like to be retained is to use the Life Invader building which normally see's no use within cities, after consulting with the dev team I've been informed it could definitely be a viable solution, I've found a reskin MLO we could use which includes a filming studio and more.
The below MLO features a re-skin using 7 News which is a real world Australian broadcaster, this would need to be adjusted or if anything we can just adjust the base game life invader building to suit our needs.
